Welcome to my website!

I am the "Ginger" behind Little Ginger Photography and have been running around Vancouver Island for more than 15 years now, camera in hand, recording beautiful memories.

I am an Island girl through and through!

Although I do love a good prairie sunset and spent a lot of my teenage years hunting down eclectic old Sask barns, the sound of the ocean feels like home to me and and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I was born on Vancouver Island and sometimes I think that the waves must have called me back here to stay :)

Give me the fresh ocean air.  Give me the beach combing.

Give me the lush forest hikes and the small roadside shops!  

Vancouver Island is such a gem and I LOVE that I get to use it as my backdrop :)

I am an on location photographer specializing in Newborn, Maternity and Family Photography.

There are so many important happenings and exciting new beginnings in life, and I love capturing all of the emotions that people go through as they start out on an entirely new path. Every moment we experience will create millions of little memories that will make up the story of our lives.

I am not studio based - I offer In-Home Newborn Sessions :) I come to you in the comfort of your own home with everything needed (except for the baby of course!) and will provide you with a good range of relaxed "lifestyle" images, as well as some more posed "studio" feel images.

For Maternity,  Family & Prom Sessions, choose from any one of the stunning outdoor locations in Nanaimo and surrounding areas! I offer location and wardrobe guidance with every session :)
